Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Account Director (Facility Management and or Janitorial) to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing full oversight of services and leadership of our team of staff.

In this role, you will be client-facing and responsible for the successful execution of the scope of the project as well as delivering on key deliverables for our company, including managing profit and loss, human resources, operational excellence, and the health and safety of our employees.

  • You will utilize the Tenacity Client for Life methodology to drive client retention through thoughtful action and attitude.
  • You will foster and maintain effective working relationships with all Clients by being a visible Account-level presence.
  • You will align key Dexterra contacts with like positions or titles within the client organization and create a relationship matrix (Web of Influence).
  • You will communicate performance expectations, monitor and reward performance to ensure plans, goals and budgets are met.
  • You will act as a talent scout using networks to help identify, recruit and vet proposed Dexterra People.
  • You will ensure succession plans are regularly reviewed and plans for career growth are supported by a personal development plan.
  • You will have a strategic selling mindset and utilize the Miller Heiman sales methodology and process.
What We're Looking For

We are looking for an experienced professional with a minimum of 5 years of operational experience in Integrated Facilities Management. A federal government security clearance is preferred.

  • Awareness of technical elements needed to deliver services support.
  • The ability to attract, develop and retain employees, providing a safe, supportive work environment, supporting people strategies.
  • A clear criminal record check is required for this role.
