The Senior Strategic Alliances Manager (Senior SAM) is fundamentally a sales role and is quota carrying. Over the past year, Strategic Partnerships has shifted from being a coordination and support team for SOTI's OEM partners to a sales-focused team entirely measured by sales performance.This particular Senior SAM role will manage and drive wins within one of SOTI's prime OEM reseller accounts. The SAM is responsible for forming tight relationships with OEM Business and Sales Teams globally, keeping SOTI top of mind in OEM accounts and helping OEMs uncover opportunities where SOTI can provide value and enlarge the size of OEM deals. The SAM will plan, create, and execute on sales and account plans for their assigned OEM. The SAM will maintain existing OEM relationships and create new contacts, ensure that OEMs are trained on SOTI products and value proposition, and, most importantly, will drive revenue through the OEMs. A major focus will be forming executive relationships at the OEM HQ and garnering significant mindshare.Crucial to the role is working and integrating with SOTI sales teams locally and abroad. The SAM must foster collaboration between SOTI sales and OEM sales teams and ensure that OEM interests are protected within SOTI.
