The Area Manager is responsible for ensuring that production is met to satisfy customer commitments. Plan and facilitate work of assigned employees. Increase the synergies and employ the knowledge of plant teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support teams as required generally by focusing the on product quality and process control (safety and process adherence)
- Maintain a positive working attitude and environment.
- Ensure that policies and procedures are satisfied.
- Willingness to accept and delegate authority.
- Accurately maintain company records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures
- Interview, appraise and discipline employees. Acknowledge team accomplishments.
- Support material shortages
- Support machine and equipment repairs
- Report and respond to product and process nonconformance issues. Implement effective corrective actions.
- Support housekeeping and safety of work areas
- Understand and support the continuous improvement and the manufacturing strategy.
- Must be willing to complete additional advanced training/education courses as required.
- Approve expenditures, and manage operations within budgets.

**Minimum Qualification**:

- Four plus years of related work experience

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or strong work experience in metal fabrication, coating or vehicle assembly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Word, and Excel, E-mail, and JD Edwards

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
