**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Manager, Equity Programs, the Coordinator, Special Projects is responsible for developing and implementing a communications plan, creating content, and coordinating logistics for various aspects of the Women and Gender Equity (WAGE) Project, and collaborating on gender equity initiatives within the Sport Safety Department.

The Women and Gender Equity (WAGE) Project is a 20-month project funded by the Government of Canada’s Women’s Economic and Leadership Opportunities Fund. The project aims to advance gender equity, leadership development and knowledge transfer through a Community of Practice and mentorship program for women in coaching. Through three key components, the project will raise awareness, provide educational opportunities, and develop leading practices to support sport organizations and women coaches.

Relevant de la gestionnaire de projets d’équité, le ou la responsable de la coordination, projets spéciaux s’occupe de l’élaboration et de la mise en œuvre d’un plan de communications, de la création de contenu et de la coordination de la logistique de différents aspects du projet Femmes et Égalité des genres Canada, et collabore à différentes initiatives d’égalité des genres du Service de la sécurité dans le sport.

Ce projet de 20 mois est financé par le Fonds d’opportunités économiques et de leadership pour les femmes du gouvernement du Canada. Il vise à faire progresser l’égalité des genres, le développement du leadership et le transfert des connaissances au moyen d’une communauté de pratique et d’un programme de mentorat pour les entraîneures. Grâce à trois éléments clés, le projet servira à la sensibilisation, proposera des formations et prévoira des pratiques exemplaires pour appuyer des organismes sportifs et les entraîneures.

**Core Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Communications**
- Develop a comprehensive communications plan for gender equity and Sport Safety programs, products, and services.
- Create content to promote WAGE project-related programs, products, and services, including press releases, website copy, social media posts, feature articles, and vignettes.
- Coordinate graphic design for new and revised products and materials [related to the WAGE project].
- Contribute to the production and distribution of a final, bilingual project report.
- Liaise with external agencies to develop promotional campaigns, produce video content, and design materials for the project.
- Support content leads in writing and design of coach stories, development of new content, revisions to existing materials, and for launch to coach.ca.

**Program Coordination**
- Coordinate logistics and communications for project-related meetings and training events, including participant travel.
- Take notes, track actions and decisions, and distribute meeting minutes to project teams and participants as needed.
- Communicate with internal and external interested parties as needed to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
- Perform administrative processes to support proper accounting, documentation, and file management for the project.

**Principales fonctions**:
**Communications**
- Élaborer un plan de communications exhaustif concernant l’égalité des genres et les programmes, produits et services du Service de la sécurité dans le sport.
- Créer du contenu pour promouvoir les programmes, produits et services du projet Femmes et Égalité des genres Canada, notamment les communiqués, le site Web, les publications pour les médias sociaux, les articles en vedette et les vignettes.
- Coordonner le graphisme des produits et documents nouveaux et révisés relatifs au projet Femmes et Égalité des genres Canada.
- Contribuer à la production et à la distribution d’un rapport de projet bilingue.
- Communiquer avec les agences externes pour préparer les campagnes promotionnelles, produire le contenu vidéo et concevoir les documents du projet.
- Aider les responsables du contenu à rédiger et à concevoir les histoires d’entraîneures, à élaborer le nouveau contenu et à réviser les documents existants en vue du lancement sur coach.ca/fr.

**Coordination de programme**
- Coordonner la logistique et les communications des rencontres et formations relatives au projet, notamment le déplacement des participants et participantes.
- Prendre des notes, faire le suivi des actions et décisions, distribuer les procès-verbaux des rencontres aux équipes de projet ainsi qu’aux participants et participantes, le cas échéant.
- Communiquer avec les parties internes et externes intéressées, le cas échéant, pour respecter les échéanciers et les exigences des livrables.
- Exécuter les processus administratifs aux fins de comptabilité, de documentation et de gestion des dossiers du projet.
