**Position: Project Manager**

**GENERAL FUNCTION**:

- Define the scope of project(s) in collaboration with team members and management.
- Create a detailed work plan, which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
- Collaboratively determine resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project
- Liaise with clients and team members to schedule day-to-day operation activities
- Cost tracking / managing subcontractor costs with internal and external platforms
- Help determine the objectives and measures with management upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion
- Follow change management processes internally and externally to capture changes to design, costs, and schedule
- Structure and schedule the Project Team with the supplied staffing personnel to meet project field requirements, performance levels, and budgets

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide a level of leadership to the existing PM team by means of providing PM guidance/mentorship to others where needed.
- Monitor the progress of projects and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
- Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards.
- Make Decisions: Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Post-Secondary Education
- A minimum of 2 years of industry / commercial Project Management experience
- Project management credentials (CAPM / PMP are assets)
- Proficient knowledge of PMI standards and practices
- Good presentation skills and excellent oral and written skills are also required
