**Your Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Enterprise Data Warehouse Services Project and Change Management Services Lead - Data & Analytics, the Project Manager is a key role that supports the coordination, implementation and/or operational change management of consolidated data assets within the Data & Analytics Enterprise Data Warehouse. The Project Manager is a professional role that combines advanced IM/IT knowledge with project management skills. You will be required to monitor project progress against standards, timelines, and plans and are expected to actively identify and resolve issues affecting timely completion including a point of escalation for related issues. You will need to manage many competing priorities within the projects as a whole and must be nimble to quickly identify any issues that require immediate attention and resolution. As an EDWS Project Manager, you will work with multiple stakeholders to plan, manage and implement various provincial data initiatives. This role requires an individual with flexibility as well as strong leadership and communication skills.

**Description**:
Works independently and in a team environment under the direction of the EDWS Project Management Services Lead. The project manager is responsible for the overall successful initiation, prioritization, planning, execution, monitoring and closure of a project. Provides support throughout the EDWS project lifecycle to ensure the project inputs, outcomes and deliverables of the business sponsor and stakeholder are met. Leads one or more EDWS projects from inception/design to implementation and into operations. Projects will be moderately complex to complex in nature and can involve management of multiple related projects of moderate size with some levels of interdependencies. Defines project objectives, resource requirements and is accountable for the development of project deliverables such as charters, business requirements, scope, timelines, data profiling, and user acceptance testing plans. Monitors the project progress against standards and timelines and identifies risks and issues affecting timely completion of the project. Creates and captures meeting agendas and minutes. Develops and disseminates communiques and status updates. Provides leadership and expertise required to ensure projects are delivered within scope, time and quality. Understands operational requirements and draws together the resources needed to meet new and changing needs. Balances diverse and, often, conflicting interests. Uses critical thinking to provide input into the identification and resolution of day-to-day project issues and conflicts.

**Required Qualifications**:
Post-secondary degree in business, health informatics, or computer science. 7 to 10 years of work-related experience in a large and complex IT environment. Extensive experience leading large project teams. Extensive knowledge of project management principles, tools and methodologies. Expertise in MS Office suite, including MS Project and Visio. Proficiency in written and oral communication skills.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Broad knowledge and understanding IM/IT functions. Excellent analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Proven experience in managing teams, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making, coaching and mentoring. Proven ability to foster relationships and partnerships with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Project management designation preferred. Experience in a health services or public sector environment is desired. Experience with Informatica Analyst is an asset. Understanding of lean project methodology, PROSCI change management and/or AHS Improvement Way (AIW) Fundamentals (or similar) training is an asset.
