Our 60+ Endocrinologists, many of whom are nationally renowned for their areas of expertise, are supported by an interdisciplinary team of highly qualified professionals.

Our team is looking for an **HR Coordinator** who can work for us on a **temporary full-time basis for 15 months** (**primarily remote work**, although infrequent in-office meetings may be required), reporting to the HR Manager. The duties will focus on recruitment, payroll and benefits support, day-to-day employee data administration, policy administration as well as special HR projects.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage recruitment for assigned positions, with guidance from the HR Manager, including pre-screening, short-listing, scheduling, conducting interviews and reference checks.
- Actively participate in new hire onboarding and orientation process, including virtual onboarding support.
- Ensure smooth transitions for employees exiting the organization by assisting with offboarding process, coordinating with all parties involved (Payroll, IT, etc.), and ensuring the required paperwork is complete.
- Administer all HR transactions (exits, new hires, transfers, promotions) in accordance with HR processes and systems.
- Administer employee benefit & RRSP plans by responding to benefit/pension enquiries and assisting with pension and benefit communication.
- Collaborate with Payroll to manage time away from work requests, yearly carry-over requests, and all other types of leaves of absence inquiries.
- Coordinate and administer all aspects of claims management (Medical Leaves, LOA, and Accommodation Requests).
- Participate in, and help coordinate, HR-led committees and internal communications to encourage a positive culture and bring the corporate values to life.
- Other administrative duties supporting HR initiatives as required.

**Skills and Requirements**
- 1-2 years of Human Resources experience, ideally with a focus on recruitment and HR administration experience.
- Certificate or degree in Human Resources Management (CHRP/CHRL designation an asset), or equivalent experience.
- Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to take initiative, respond quickly, and be flexible to changing priorities.
- Strong sense of confidentiality.
- Experience with JazzHR and ADP is an asset.
