**Nature and Scope**
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Human Resources with a primary work location at the Hamilton Downtown Family YMCA with the ability to work remotely when needed, the Talent Acquisition Co-ordinator will build an end-to-end talent journey for the YMCA of Hamilton/Burlington/Brantford (YMCA HBB).

**Responsibilities**
- Assess current practices to ensure that the YMCA recruitment cycle is barrier free with recruitment efforts that support diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging
- Identify gaps and recommend or initiate improvement activities to ensure YMCA HBB recruitment processes are aligned with YMCA values and responsive to the varying demands across operations
- Coordinate cost efficient methods of recruitment through various social media platforms i.e. LinkedIn, Indeed and assess return on investment to maximize recruitment efforts
- Assess cost/benefit of recruitment efforts, report on same and bring recommendations to maximize budget expenditures
- Maintain statistical data on various HR metrics to support improvement of processes in the full recruitment cycle
- Direct involvement in the implementation of the UKG Recruitment and Onboarding module
- Develop and recommend strategies to support employee retention
- Keep up to date with industry trends and bring innovative ideas to the table

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or other related post-secondary education
- Minimum 4 years recruiting experience in a high-volume setting with a goal to becoming a YMCA brand ambassador
- Experience with job boards, such as Indeed, Linkedin, GlassDoor, etc. and other social media platforms is a must
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong administrative skills including attention to detail
- Sound knowledge and comfort in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
- Access to reliable personal transportation to travel throughout Hamilton, Burlington, Brantford and Haliburton as required (YMCA Wanaita located in Haliburton is owned and operated by YMCA HBB)
- Must provide a current Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check as per the Association’s policy
