Business Lead Screening Solutions

**Job Summary**:
In accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values, and strategic directions of Provincial Health Services Authority patient safety is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone at PHSA, and as such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.
The Business Lead, Screening Solutions has direct responsibility for the overall operational and business support of processes related to Cancer Screening technology solutions in BCCA. The Business Lead provides leadership, project management and stakeholder engagement for initiatives related to technology solutions for the Screening Programs. This role is responsible for managing, monitoring and coordinating the maintenance and support of Screening technology solutions. This role will work closely with various BCCA Screening Programs, IMITS and HSSBC, as well as, other Health Authorities and their IMITS departments to ensure service levels are met to ensure business continuity. The role will oversee the business process related to disaster recovery and business continuity for BCCA Screening Programs.
**Duties/Accountabilities**:
- Coordinate implementation of technology solutions by acting as liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams, and by ensuring documentation, user testing, user training, and business process change management plans are in place.
- Work closely with leaders of Screening Programs, to ensure technological needs of the Screening Programs are appropriately articulated and escalated to IMITS and HSSBC;
- Work closely with Manager, Oncology Solutions to ensure operational processes, support model and governance for Screening solutions are aligned with processes established by BCCA, IMITS and HSSBC;
- Manage and effectively communicate processes related to HSSBC and IMITS initiatives to Screening Program stakeholders;
- Coordinate, liaise and collaborate with the Manager, Oncology Solutions, IMITS, and HSSBC and other health authorities regarding desktop, network and other technical issues to ensure services are provided by IMITS and HSSBC;
- Ensure adherence to budget by performing duties such as monitoring expenditures and recommending remedial action and takes corrective action to ensure performance to plan.
- Liaise with the BCCA Privacy staff to support their work but is not accountable for privacy functions
