**Position profile.**
The Administrative Assistant person’s role is to provide support, where needed, to multiple departments in an office setting. Data Entry and clerical work will be a primary role. Answering phones and responding to customer requests will also be very important. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Administrative Assistant will be involved with organization and scheduling of quotes, sales orders, work orders and record keeping. The Administrative Assistant is an active member of the Admin Team and participates in team meetings, working as a team member to collaboratively address initiatives, challenges and issues, problem solving to achieve the most effective solutions for the Customer and the Company. The Administrative Assistant has the following responsibilities:
**Essential duties and responsibilities**
- Identify areas of improvement in administrative practices
- Assisting in quoting custom fabrication and production work
- Assisting in purchasing and scheduling
- As required, supporting the engineering and accounting departments projects
- Entering and managing data in our Netsuite ERP system
- Managing a computerized filing system/database
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, where safety is of the highest importance.

**Qualification & requirements**
- A valid Class 5 Drivers License
- 2 years of direct work experience in an office setting preferred
- Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment requiring multi-tasking and prioritizing
- Ability to work independently and in conjunction with other team members
