**About the Role**:
The Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Specialist reports to the HSE Manager and is responsible to drive the execution of HSE system and initiatives, continuously improve the HSE Management program and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards and corporate requirements.

**Your Responsibilities**:
**WORKER HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Conduct work in compliance with the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) regulations and ISO45001 Occupational H&S Management System (OHSMS) and ISO14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) requirements
- Follow all Rollstamp’s HSE policies and procedures
- Use and wear the right personal protective equipment (PPE) and protective devices
- Report absence or defect in any equipment or protective device to the Supervisor/Manager
- Report any hazard, unsafe act or condition to the Supervisor/Manager
- Attend/participate in all required training

**For H&S Specialist (in addition to the responsibilities listed above for Worker HSE Responsibilities)**:

- Responsible for reporting on the OHSMS performance and ensure OHSMS is established, implemented and maintained in accordance to ISO45001:2018 requirements
- Authorize to approve use of new chemical or raw materials
- Review/authorize any modifications, additions, or removal of process or equipment as it relates to H&S

**Who we are looking for**:
**Educational Requirements**:Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environment, Engineering or related field required.

**Minimum Experience**:Minimum 3-5 years of experience in leading the implementation of HSE programs in a manufacturing environment; advanced knowledge of OH&S and Environmental legislations and standards***

**Courses Required**:Health, Safety and Law, WHMIS, TDG, Internal Auditor, Spill Response, Accident Investigation, Hazard Identification, First Aid/CPR, AODA, Ergonomics, WSIB/RTW program, LOTO***

**Computer Skills**:Computer proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, PeopleSoft.***

**Additional Certificates/Diplomas**:Additional Occupational Health & Safety Training preferred***

**Licenses/Permits Required**:JHSC Certification**, **ISO14001 Certification

**Communication Skills**:Exceptional internal/external communication skills, both oral and written.***
