Safety Manager
**Duties**:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, including detailed reports and documentation
- Provide safety training and education programs for employees to promote a culture of safety awareness
- Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations related to workplace safety
- Coordinate with external agencies, such as OSHA, on safety-related matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Safety Manager or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis
- Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to deliver training programs and interact with employees at all levels
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., CSP, CIH) is preferred
**Salary**: $85,000.00-$110,693.98 per year
