Key Responsibilities include:_ _executing sales strategies and developing tactics and actions to achieve sales within the defined territory. This position will report to the International Sales Manager - Mining located in the US.

Role Expectations:

- Develop customer base in Western U.S. example Colorado, Utah, and Nevada
- Cultivate relationships with our current customer base and develop relationships with new customers, with the specific goal of business development while consistently growing annual sales in the Western U.S. mining market.
- Educate customers on the superior quality of the products we manufacture, as well as the capacities and capabilities of Polycorp. Create added value for the customer by ensuring an understanding of the customer’s needs.
- Address customer concerns related to product quality, delivery schedules, productivity, or design issues, liaising with manufacturing staff for continuous improvement.
- Develop quotes, proposals, and responses to customer inquiries, while prospecting for new accounts aligned with our growth strategy and manufacturing capabilities.
- Support the company's presence at trade shows, technical seminars, and industry events.
- Keep a focus on the market drivers and emerging technologies, with a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape by geography and industry segment.
- Utilize a persistent attitude and interpersonal skills to ensure success in securing new accounts and servicing existing customer needs.
- Develop new accounts and product opportunities.
- Divide time effectively by being the key link between customers and our manufacturing facility in Elora, ON.
- Practice effective time/activity management.
- Travel to customer sites, trade shows, etc., is required.

Experience Required:

- Minimum 3-5 years sales experience
- Proven success in building new customer relationships within the area
- Knowledge of mining, mineral processing and grinding equipment.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in making technical presentations with the use of MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word and Project.
- A willingness to get involved in all aspects of the sales cycle
- Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.

Work hours and travel flexibility are a must as many of our customers are based in North America. Some extensive travel may be required.
