Job Description
Busy medical clinic in London, Ontario is seeking a **Medical Receptionist**
- _**Applicants to have previous Medical/Administration experience and/or strong customer service skills**_

**Hours**: Monday-Thursday 12-8, Friday 9-1

**Job Type** : Full time position to cover a one year maternity leave

**Start date**: first of April 2024

**Salary**:$19.50-$20.00/hour (depending on experience)

Schedule/reschedule appointments for patients and/or Physicians via telephone or direct contact

Modifying Physician schedules as requested

Working closely with Nursing team re: triaging

Ensure patient demographics are current and up-to-date in EMR database

Health Card validation

Collection and reminders of uninsured services payments

Daily liaison with patients and Physicians

Assist with EMR scanning to ensure all all medical documentation received from such sources as hospital, labs, Public Health, community referrals, etc

**Education/Experience**:
The Medical Receptionist must be an efficient individual who works well under pressure and is able to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively

- Strong attention-to-detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Customer services
- Time management and organizational skills are required for this confidential environment.
