Director of School Affairs and School Organization Department

**NATURE OF THE WORK**:
As the coordinator of school organization and daycare, your primary role will entail the performance of duties required for the coordination, supervision, evaluation, research and development of one or more programs and activities pertaining to your field of action. In addition, you will be required to:

- Coordinate the transmission of accurate information through Jade to the different sectors of the Ministère de l’éducation (MEQ) related to the fields of activity (certification of studies, production and report analysis).
- Be able to effectively navigate systems such as GDUNO, Charlemagne, Ariane, Adam, Élection Québec, DGF (daycare), BILAN, SRAM and CAS.
- Prepare statistical and analytical data for the school board management team to optimize operations and decision-making.
- Create, provide and manage excel files or other management tools for any matter related to the field of activity in response to the needs of the organization and other administrative units.
- Provide administrative support, information and procedures to school administrators and staff in schools and departments.
- Provide training and support to GPI users such as school secretaries and school organization technicians to ensure accurate data entry and facilitate transmissions to the MEQ.
- Support the Human Resources Department with the teacher staffing through simulations to determine the teachers’ allocation.
- Participate in implementing and promoting consultation and collaboration measures.
- Participate in developing the objectives and strategies of the school board dealing with administrative matters.
- Represent the school board in matters related to your field of activity.
- Coordinate the duties of the school organization department staff members while ensuring their support, supervision and evaluation.
- Carry out all other related tasks as requested by the Director of School Affairs and School Organization.

**REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Have five (5) years relevant experience.
- Have demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative and consultative team environment.
- Hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant field of study certifying a minimum three-year university program or hold a senior executive or senior staff position, excluding a manager position, in a board.
- Be proficient in the use of information and communication technology.
- Possess advanced Excel skills to be able to transform raw data into meaningful displays to support sound decision-making.
- Have an excellent knowledge of French and English, spoken and written.
- Have the ability to work effectively under pressure and within time constraints.
