Clearoute is seeking an organized, diligent and experienced professional to join the team as a full-time Program Manager. The Program Manager will support Clearoute’s communications team and global partners, by coordinating and overseeing various projects in the sports, youth and entertainment sector for a not-for-profit client.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer of Clearoute and Executive Director of the not-for-profit client organization, the Program Manager will oversee a diverse global portfolio (with an immediate focus on Canada) of sustainable development programming in the area of sports and entertainment in relations to mind health and personal development to grow the organization’s programming activities through the development of effective proposal submissions. The role will also support the operational duties within the organization which include interdepartmental workflow, seasonal project implementation and administrative tasks.
- Facilitate extensive narrative and financial reporting, needs assessments, project monitoring, and evaluation activities, and provide direction and control to overseas projects.
- Submit grants and partnership opportunities, and substantiate with information on risk, timelines, and required resources.
- Collaborate with international partners to launch innovative programming.
- Support partner organizations in understanding and complying with donor agreements and the clients guidelines and requirements.
- Author ongoing reports to funders on project progress and ensure adherence to donor reporting requirements.
- Foster and strengthen overseas and local partnerships, and maintain regular communication with overseas partners.
- Ensure that appropriate project records are maintained to provide a sound basis for project tracking, reporting, and follow-up.
- Proactively respond to funding opportunities, project proposals, and budgets, and ensure the timely submission of a top-quality final proposal.
- Provide operational support to leadership in the Programs Department related to growing its internal capacities and facilitating coordination with other departments.
- Provides administrative assistance: planning and organizing meetings, authoring program briefs and supervising volunteers.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.

- Program Development Skills: You have a proven track record in designing and implementing successful programs. Your ability to conceptualize, plan and execute initiatives will ensure the effective delivery of our youth, sports and entertainment programs
- Collaborative Approach: You excel in collaborative environments and thrive in team settings. Your ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, partners, and stakeholders will foster a culture of collaboration and support the successful execution of our programs.
- Strong Communication Skills: You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Your ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner will be instrumental in conveying the impact of our initiatives to stakeholders and building strong relationships.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: You are comfortable navigating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, Your Adaptability and flexibility will allow you to embrace new challenges, adjust strategies as needed, and seize opportunities for growth and improvement.
- High proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to deliver educational programs to community groups.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills in English.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet urgent deadlines.
- Highly independent and able to work in a leadership role with mínimal supervision.
- Superior interpersonal, cultural sensitivity, and diplomacy skills.
- A willingness to undertake occasional international travel for visits to overseas partners.
