**Position Summary**
Centennial College is looking for a highly organized, tech-savvy and flexible self-starter to provide accessible and exceptional onsite and virtual services to coordinate and proctor accommodated course assessments; provide accommodations support - including provision of learning materials in alternative formats, notetakers, and interpreters; and oversee the campus’ adaptive technology lab space. As an Accessible Learning Facilitator, you will report to the Manager and collaborate with the department administrative team to support operations and provide on-site coverage at any of our five campus locations within the Greater Toronto Area when needed.

**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate accommodated course assessments for the campus - including the scheduling of CALCS Assessment Invigilators, booking spaces as needed, and management of the Accessible Testing Online Management System (ATOMS)
- Support students and faculty in accessing and navigating the ATOMS system
- Arrange computerized note takers, attendants, sign language interpreters and proctors for accommodations; organizing schedules and other details
- Organize technology use and equipment loans to students
- Organize note takers and scribes to support student learning and testing
- Prepare tests and learning materials in alternate formats
- Recruit, train and organize scheduling for invigilators
- Proctoring of onsite accommodated course assessments in the CALCS assessment lab

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Two (2) year diploma and/or completion of a certificate program within the fields of Social Services; Accessibility Studies or related field; technical expertise related to disabilities such as Educational Assistant, Developmental Assistant is a definite asset
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience working with students with disabilities with a strong understanding of providing excellent customer service and accommodations to ensure provisions of goods and services are accessible
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential issues with a highly diverse audience, with the ability to advocate for the needs of an individual who may not understand their obligations with respect to accessibility
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, electronic scheduling, and record keeping software (relevant to the healthcare field would be an asset)
- Strong understanding of equity principles and working with a highly diverse student population
- Practical experience with various assistive/adaptive technology to provide accommodations for students with disabilities
- Experience with data management, including tracking and compiling data from paper files and with electronic databases;
- Proven time management and multi-tasking abilities
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills with ability to make accurate referrals
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
