**About the role**:
Develop, manage, coordinate, administer and consult on a variety of policies, programs and activities covering multiple HR activities across assigned region. Areas of accountability could include several of the following: performance management, onboarding, off-boarding, leave management, learning and development, employee engagement, wellness, employee relations and/or reporting.
**You are great at**:
- Developing, managing, coordinating, administering, and consulting on a variety of policies, programs and activities covering multiple HR disciplines.
- Providing HR consultation for a select client group in both Canada and the United states. Areas of accountability could include several of the following: performance management, onboarding, off-boarding, learning and development, employee engagement, wellness, employee relations and/or reporting. Examples of work efforts could include partnering with leaders to develop programs/plans, developing learning curriculum, wellness calendars, and facilitating orientation.
- Leading HR projects and initiatives, both locally and at a regional/Global Office level.
- Assisting in conducting internal investigations.
- Creating and then uploading intranet updates, as required. Maintaining the integrity of the Human Resources intranet pages.
- Completing HR paperwork, including PAF’s, PRF’s, expense reports, etc.
**What it takes**:
- University Degree in a related field coupled with a minimum of 5 years’ HR advisory experience supporting a broad range of HR initiatives.
- Has or working towards relevant HR Professional Designation.
- Experience working with an HRIS is required. Ulti Pro preferred.
- Ability to work with and keep confidential sensitive materials, situations and people.
- Familiar with relevant **Employment Standards for both Canada and the United States.**:
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment or initiative and function with mínimal supervision.
- Proven ability to work a variety of different personalities and to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidence at all times and in all situations.
