ROBINSON is currently looking for someone with a strong interest in design and a passion for sales to grow our online store presence. Promoting and selling some of the best lighting and plumbing brands from all over the world, you will have the opportunity to connect with the design community to showcase our lighting and bath products. You will be responsible for directing them to our online store and helping them find that perfect piece for their project.
**This is a remote position ideally located in Ontario.
**What you will do**:
- Identify new opportunities and prospect new customers
- Develop and maintain relationships with architects, designers, home builders, renovators and design community customers within the assigned territory
- Manage accounts, conduct regular visits to existing customers
- Develop and execute sales strategies in collaboration with the Director, eCommerce
- Support the eCommerce Sales Consultants by providing "on site" product support for the design community
- Attend industry events and product training sessions to keep current on trends and offerings in the lighting, plumbing and design industry
- Prepare and present quotations, keep detailed records of quotes, sales and customer requests (ERP & CRM)
- Work with the eCommerce Sales Consultants & the fulfillment teams to ensure timely delivery of products
- Ensure all customers receive outstanding service and follow up in a timely, professional manner
**About you**:
- You are a motivated individual with previous sales experience
- You have a good understanding of industry and design trends
- You are committed to providing excellent customer service
- You are a good team player willing to help and support others
- You are an effective verbal and written communicator
- You possess strong networking, interpersonal and presentation skills
- You are familiar with online shopping (i.e., have researched and purchased products online)
- You are able to read and understand design drawings (preferred)
- You are able to speak French (definite asset)
