Our company is passionate about providing each and every customer with an exceptional entertainment experience. Magic Lantern Theatres is looking for a qualified, highly motivated, and professional Manager for the Capitol Theatre in North Battleford.

**The key responsibilities of a Theatre Manager include, but are not limited to**:

- Hire, train, retain and develop team.
- Inspire, coach, and motivate team members to deliver a remarkable unmatched overall entertainment experience through direct oversight of customer service, facility maintenance, and presentation quality.
- Guide and encourage team members to maximize their personal growth and development.
- Manage and offer superior service to the customer experience - ensure each and every customer who visits your facility is satisfied and is excited about their next visit.
- Manage your theatre budget, inventory, and oversee all aspects of theater operations. Forecast and initiate action/projects to drive the business forward and strengthen the community relationship.
- Working effectively with supervisors, peers, subordinates, customers, vendors, and corporate partners.
- Provide coverage and assistance in the areas of concessions, box office, and other customer service responsibilities as needed.
- Oversee any and all areas of the business operation

- Demonstrate strong communication (oral & written), organization, and leadership skills required to lead a theatre.
- Outstanding ability to listen, communicate, and work effectively with customers in high stress and high volume setting.
- Ability to present a calm demeanor that deters others from engaging in disruptive conduct, while encouraging a positive interaction with customers
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong computer aptitude.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A flexible schedule that requires evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities, while continuing to meet financial targets and reporting responsibilities.
- The ability to perform the essential job functions requires certain physical standards to include lifting, reaching, bending, kneeling, ascending and descending stairs.
- Ability to read and interpret documents like training materials, spreadsheets, reports and operating instructions.
- Creative thinking for events, fundraising and maintaining a strong community relationship.
- Ability to do small maintenance upkeep and repairs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
