The Public Service Commission delivers HR services, internal communications, and employee engagement supports throughout the Government of Alberta to create a positive organizational culture and foster an environment conducive to success.

The Learning and Talent Management Branch within the Learning, Engagement and Talent Management division supports the delivery of a comprehensive range of learning and development services across client departments in scope of the Professional Development Framework and oversees the APS talent management functions to support corporate succession efforts and the performance excellence process.

- Reporting to your respective Team Lead, as a Corporate Facilitator, you will join the force of a diverse team who is passionate on developing the knowledge, skills, and competencies of all our employees in the Alberta Public Servce (APS). You will be well supported by our Lead Learning Administrator; and while we won’t expect you to be an expert in every field, it is important for our Corporate Faciltiators to be versatile and open to learning new content. You’ll have the chance to showcase your ability to foster productive learning environments by effectively delivering corporate learning supports under the APS Professional Development Framework. Your top priority will be to enable the safety, enjoyment and learning of class participants in the most impactful and engaging way.
- Responsibilities will include:

- Delivering corporate learning supports: to all levels of APS employees through various delivery approaches that includes both general and cohort-based learning, using in-person and virtual mediums. Facilitation topics may include, but not limited to:
- Business effectiveness (e.g. project management, change management etc.)
- Communication
- Diversity and inclusion
- Leadership development and skills
- Policy development and implementation

Delivery of such learning supports will also involve reviewing the course content and materials ahead of time to effectively prepare for the facilitation of courses and programs**Role Responsibilities Continued**:
**Facilitating group discussions and activities**: Corporate Facilitators will guide interactive sessions, discussions, and group activities to encourage active participation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among participants.

**Fostering a culture of continuous learning**:promote a supportive environment where employees are encouraged to pursue ongoing learning and skill development to adapt to evolving job requirements and organizational priorities.

**Evaluating learning outcomes**:assess the effectiveness of training delivery by gathering feedback, measuring learning outcomes, and making adjustments to improve delivery.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum requirement standard:
- University degree in a related field plus a minimum of two years’ experience facilitating learning supports both virtually and in-person; or equivalent as described below.
