In this role, the Service Desk Technician will provide a range of support to ensure our IT systems and services are in working order to meet business needs. You will be part of a team responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software and networking issues, as well as ensuring that all computing operations run with optimal performance and security.

To be successful, a Service Desk Technician should have an excellent ability to solve problems using in-depth understanding of information systems and computing solutions. The Service Desk Technician will also be a team player, willing to handle all support requests with courtesy and professionalism.

**Role**:

- Responsible for management, configuration, and operation of cloud services including Office 365 services and collaboration tools, and VoIP cloud system
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and network equipment
- Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
- Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
- Ensure compliance to company IT KPIs and SLAs

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- 3-5 years of system or network administration, or equivalent experience
- IT certifications in CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL, Cisco, or any other network related are a plus
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Office 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, IT Networking and VoIP systems
- Experience with scripting and automation tools, especially with Azure, SharePoint, and Exchange PowerShell
- Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices
- Proven experience as a Help Desk Technician or similar role
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
