**What you will do**:
The Project Coordinator will report to the Site Managers and his designate. This is a permanent position project based. The position will be responsible for the accurate and timely completion of a variety of administrative tasks required to support the needs of the site operations team, clients, and subcontractors. The position requires a strong team player with excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills with initiative and the ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
Responsibilities for this role will include but not limited to the following:
- Troubleshoots day to day projects issues
- Generating, review and update work execution plan packages, daily report, turnover packages, field binder, check sheets
- Creating project scheduling, planning, and coordination for maintenance projects
- Creating and submitting LEMs and POs
- Updating and maintaining tools and PPE inventory management
- Creating and processing EAF (expense approval form)
- Create project forms, documents, and sign out sheets using Adobe and Bluebeam as required
- Submit overtime forms and other miscellaneous requests to clients for processing
- Attend weekly scheduling meeting to discuss walk down, the scope of work, breakdown steps and assign man-hours and update materials estimated time of arrival as required
- Handle daily procurement, manage requisitions, expense all approval forms, quotes, packing slips, and material deliveries while on site
- Update manpower load capacity weekly
- Update manpower schedule
- All other duties as assigned
**Qualification and Skills**:
- A minimum of 5+ years related experience in the capacity of Project Coordinator in the oil/gas industry
- Related post-secondary education or trade certification (Sprinkler Fitter)
- Previous Suncor experience considered an asset
- Strong IT skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Team, SharePoint, Excel), SAP, etc.
- Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and a strong commitment to achieving goals
- Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and the willingness to travel
- NFPA & Civil experience will be considered an asset
- Safety experience will be considered an asset
- QA/QC experience will be considered an asset
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, clients, and contractors
