**What you’ll do**
It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key responsibilities of the role:
- This position is accountable for managing (6 to 12 months out) the implementation of Intelligent Automation (IA) and Enterprise Data and Analytics (EDA) strategy, to drive profitable sales and to create operational improvements within Merchandise Operations.
- Accountable for identifying business process improvement opportunities, leads the development and implementation of sustainable solutions to improve productivity
- Manage Merchandise Operations reporting and analysis processes, IA project initiatives and EDA projects; including scoping, defining, prioritizing, identifying project metrics, developing control plans to ensure projects deliver gains that are continuous and sustainable with results that are measurable.
- Lead the creation of solutions for reporting requests (Streamlining, Dashboards, Centralized reports, etc.); Provides direction on gathering, reporting and interpretation of business intelligence data enabling the business to make informed decisions; identifies research tools and sources to address information gaps; responsible for the Analyst’s delivery of prioritized data, data models, dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate closely with Global Continuous Improvement, Logistics, IT, Planning & MP&A teams, HR, Merchants to ensure reporting and process documentation, training tools and resources are available for team to use.
- Partner with Merchandise Operations Leadership, SME’s and global partners to develop department KPI’s; Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including Logistics, Merchants, Planning, MP&A and Finance to develop and ensure execution of strategically identified reporting processes that maximize efficiencies.
- Organizes and oversees project teams, providing direction and guidance to Associates on project activities aligned with the strategic roadmap.
- Implements Agile Principles in the creation and delivery of automations.
- Partners with the Leadership, representing internal voice of the customer for Global suite of “Buying Tools” and IA projects and solutions and Federated RPA team
- Responsible for breaking Epics into Features and manage and prioritize those features for Federated RPA team as agreed by Leadership
- Collaborates with Merchandise Operations leadership, process owners and Finance leadership to recommend EPICs and create the program vision and roadmap
- Partners with IA COE on governance and coordination of work and training
- Partners with Leadership to provide change management support and arrange for training with HR, IA team and business as process changes are introduced.
- Collaborates with global peers to establish ways of working/ best practices, share learnings & leverage global solutions developed locally, negotiate resources, and align strategies to support mutual objectives
- Responsible for executing department talent strategy to ensure pipeline of functional capability with diversified talent pool to fill key positions that support current and future needs of department; participate on talent development discussions and talent review calibrations, sets and tracks teams objectives.
- Leads a team responsible for liaising with multiple technical teams in IT, Merchandise Operations global partners, multiple functional stakeholders within TJX Canada.
**What you’ll need**

- Post-secondary education in business administration, software or management engineering or information systems or equivalent experience.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in business intelligence and data analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to act as a collaborative partner with senior management and positively influence management and staff to act in the best interest of the Company; Ability to lead, motivate and direct teams.
