The Granite Club is looking for a Tennis Event Coordinator to facilitate, coordinate and assist with the social and event planning for the tennis section for all ages and playing levels to ensure Member engagement and experiences are memorable.

Primary Responsibilities
- To assist with development of an annual social event calendar in conjunction with the Head Tennis Professional and the Tennis Committee.
- To attend Tennis Committee meetings and provide updates as necessary.
- To assist with the annual Summer Club Championships including promotion of the event, assistance with running the event and follow-up afterwards with recognition.
- Ensure communication of events through the Communications department for Membership as well as updates to the Tennis staff and coaches.
- To assist with planning and possibly attending Club getaways to Tournaments or Tennis resorts and camps.
- To assist with annual charity events as agreed upon and supported by the Tennis Committee.
- To work with Granite Gear and our equipment providers for event sponsorship or reduced pricing on giveaways, branding, promotion.
- To develop relationships with the F&B and Events team to create memorable experiences for our Tennis Members and Staff.
- To assist with annual staff training sessions, coach education and/or social events
- To arrange for “meet and greet”, coffee with Professional Staff - ongoing.
- To assist with the Club hosting of major events like the Junior Nationals and Masters Tournament or Professional Development seminars or symposiums.
- To coordinate annual Granite Day at the National Bank Open.
- To teach Private lessons, clinics, camps as determined by the Head Tennis Professional.

Required Qualifications
- Tennis Canada Club Professional 2 Certification.
- Excellent public relations, interpersonal and communications skills.
- Current CPR / First Aid Training.
- Computer and basic marketing proficiency.
- Tennis event planning experience.
- Social media proficient.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
