This is an event management position that requires you to be adventurous, outgoing, energetic, and creative You will be planning and leading events in and around Vancouver, getting the chance to explore and engage with singles across the city and the globe

**What is Events & Adventures?**

Events & Adventures is a nationwide adventure & activities club only for 21+ singles. 30+ events are held monthly. Your role? Plan, coordinate, and lead adventures.

You will be outdoors, active, engaging, meeting new people, and creating a fun, safe, exciting space for adults to _live a life they love_. You **won't** be - matchmaking, dealing with drama, doing sales... **We ARE NOT a dating service**.

This position is a FUN creator. It is long hours sometimes. It requires leadership, management, and exceptional organization. It requires patience & excellent customer service. It requires personal responsibility. The buck stops with you. We foster an atmosphere where it is ok to fail. It is ok to take risks. It is not ok to blame others, lie, or make excuses. You have the trust of the entire community and that must be honored and respected.

**Responsibilities**
- Creating 30+ events monthly in and around the entire Vancouver area in addition to 1+ virtual event per month.
- Marketing and promotion of events through social media and our website.
- Networking and developing relationships and partnership with various venues and restaurants around the area.
- Direct and manage all correspondence with members of the club to help answer all questions they have related to events.
- Manage finances each month through Google Drive - tracking Profit, Loss, Expenses, etc.

**Requirements**:

- Live within driving distance of downtown Vancouver
- Must have a reliable vehicle with a valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 30lbs
- Work some holidays, nights, and weekends
- Lead overnight trips & outdoor adventures
- Must be 21+
- Drug-free
- Pass background check
- Outgoing, Energetic, and a Go-Getter
- Willing to learn new things
- Active & engaged in social media
- Must be willing to start within the next two weeks and hit the ground running
- Understand the work-life balance

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
