RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
The junior assistant is in charge of different tasks to support the other research team members.

General Duties
- Assist supervisors and other team members in their tasks (prepare files, organizes events such as the Autism Festival, workshops, etc.),
- Active participation in the TACC’s Community Engagement Committee, which aims to promote and support network members and community engagement in network activities.
- Creates reports and documentation when needed,
- Acts as a resource person for all stakeholders (e.g. speakers, artists, participants, vendors) to resolve various issues that may arise both prior (planning stages) and during the events and activities,
- Participates in the development and performs specific editing and reviewing of documents as required,
- Collects and enters data into established databases,
- Processes data and reports on findings as required,
- Performs basic word processing functions such as, document formatting, labeling, spellcheck, mail merge, and drafting letters, invitations and event announcements from templates.

Education / Experience
- Must be fluently bilingual: French and English (spoken and written),
- Dynamic enthusiastic individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
- Ability to work in a team,
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to set priorities,
- Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Additional information

**Status**: part-time

**Pay Scale**: : 20$ an hour

**Work Shift**: : 10 hours per week

**Work Site**: : Variable (Research Institute of the MUHC, Montreal Neurological Institute
