Summary Assist foreman with pole inspection and treatment, pole restoration, and other utility field crew service.

Essential

**Responsibilities**:
Operate in a safe and efficient manner utilizing all required safety equipment (hard had, safety vest, work boots, etc.)

Utilize equipment to excavate ground material around utility poles.

Must achieve and maintain acceptable levels of productivity and quality of work based on job norm and in comparison to fellow employees.

Operate company vehicle - 4x4, and side-by-side vehicles (if applicable and qualified). Travelling to and working in a variety of settings, from urban to remote.

Perform all other reasonable duties as assigned by the Foreman and following the guidelines and instructions from your supervisors and/or managers

Education and/or Experience

No prior experience or training.

Language Skills

Ability to read a limited number of two
- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

Reasoning Ability
- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

None.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Prior to operating a vehicle, must successfully complete the Osmose Driver Qualification Program. In addition, to be eligible to operate some company vehicle, the employee must possess a valid driver's license.

Other Qualifications

In order to guarantee long-term employment, must be willing to travel away from home for short and extended periods to various job locations when necessary. Must maintain a consistent attendance record and be available for work Monday through Saturday. Must comply with the Osmose Policy for a Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace.
