We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at SASKATCHEWAN LTD. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances. They will also be responsible for inspecting kitchens and food service areas, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, cleaning kitchen and work areas, and managing kitchen operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Culinary Expertise: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Customer Focus: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, preventing waste and ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage kitchen operations, including staff supervision and workflow optimization.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Culinary Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: On-site work is mandatory; no remote work options are available.

Additional Information:

This position requires a strong focus on client satisfaction, dependability, organized work habits, reliability, teamwork, and effective time management.

Estimated Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
