Infrastructure Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee infrastructure inspection projects for Asset Strategy Inc. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of project management, and experience with data analysis, report writing, and planning. This role involves supervising on-site operations, coordinating with client representatives, and maintaining effective communication with team members.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This requires providing supervision of daily operations on project sites, collaborating with project managers and engineers/technologists, and utilizing inspection software for locating assets, collecting data, and project tracking and reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision of daily operations on project sites for infrastructure assessment projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers/technologists to efficiently conduct assessments of steel poles, concrete foundations, and sidewalks, asphalt roads, buildings, and other infrastructure assets.
- Utilize inspection software for locating assets, collecting data, project tracking, and reporting.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Oversee budgeting processes, including estimating and resource allocation.
- Coordinate schedules for technicians and laborers, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports and documentation of any issues encountered.
- Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the project, including clients, project managers, and management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the Canadian infrastructure industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in understanding engineering specifications and work procedures is essential.
- Familiarity with estimating techniques and budgeting practices is required.
- Experience using cloud-based data collection systems and Microsoft Office software is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflicts effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in quality control measures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of work quality.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary range of $62,050 - $94,625 per year. Benefits include company events, dental care, employee assistance program, extended health care, life insurance, on-site parking, and vision care.
