The Project Coordinator is responsible to organize, administer and control project activities, under the direction and supervision of a Project Manager. The Project Coordinator will support and collaborate with the Project Manager and Superintendent in overseeing and managing their assigned projects.
- Responsible for coordination of project documentation, which includes, but not limited to: meeting minutes, Change Orders/Site Instructions, Owner's Instructions, Shop Drawings and Drawing Log, draft Progress Claims, field notices, etc.
- Set up and maintain project reporting procedures: cost reports, project status reports, document drawing control, shop drawing document control.
- Work at the direction of the Project Manager and Supervisor to plan the work sequence, using specifications, drawings, and site conditions for effective safety-conscious production.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs (RFI, Vendor/Subcontractor, Purchase, Owner etc.), track responses and advise stakeholders.
- Assist in the management of trade contractor site meetings, RFIs, invoices and control document process.
- Responsible for ordering/coordinating materials issuing PO’s and scheduling deliveries
- Manage all project administration activities including payroll, timekeeping, labor coding, safety reporting, etc.
- Review construction plans for compliance and identify/ note areas of discrepancies
- Establish and maintain strong work relationships with clients, consultants, trade contractors and suppliers
- Oversee shop drawings receipt, review and issue to client from various suppliers as needed
- Administer and Manage Core safety policy and programs

**Qualifications**
- Technical diploma in an appropriate construction-related field (CET), or equivalent construction experience.
- One or more years of experience as a Project Coordinator
- Able to read blueprints, schematics, field drawings and plans
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Projects and Adobe or Bluebeam Revu.
- Knowledge of Construction Management software preferred - priority will be given to those with experience with Pro-Core.
- A solid understanding of all construction trades, safety and construction techniques. Experience with CORE Safty Program is an asset
- Knowledge of local, provincial and federal workplace compliance regulations, ordinances and legislation.
- Experience/familiarity with Commercial/Industrial construction preferred

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
