About the Opportunity

Apollo Fire Systems is currently seeking an experienced Technician of Kitchen Fire Suppression Systems. This position requires the ability to service, inspect and repair kitchen suppression systems and fire extinguishers for established customers on a scheduled basis.

Salary
- Paid per hour and is based on experience

Duties
- Inspecting and repairing pre-engineered restaurant fire suppression systems manufactured by Amerex, Buckeye, Pyro Chem and Range Guard
- Thorough understanding of NFPA, manufacturer and local fire codes for restaurant fire suppression systems
- Performing on-site emergency troubleshooting of fire suppression systems
- Identifying NFPA code and non-conformance issues
- Maintain proper documentation for all work performed

**Qualifications**:

- Two-Five + years’ experience inspecting restaurant fire suppression systems
- Must have knowledge and understanding of NFPA codes
- Valid Driver’s License with no major violations and 3 or less points
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Applicant must be punctual, self-sufficient and responsible
- Ability to work occasional nights, early mornings and weekend shifts when needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Simcoe County, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
