Delta Helicopters Ltd. is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Avionics Technician to join our dedicated team. **About the Role**:
As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining avionics systems and equipment on our fleet of helicopters. You will work closely with our maintenance team to ensure all systems are functioning optimally and that all repairs and installations meet the highest industry standards. The position is based out of Delta’s Head Office at St. Albert Heliport #13, 26004 Twp Rd 544, Sturgeon County, AB, T8T OB6.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on avionics systems, including navigation, communication, and flight control equipment.
- Conduct inspections and routine tests to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install electronic components within aircraft.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and modifications.
- Collaborate with other technicians and maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective workflows.
**Qualifications**:
- Two to Three year Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance and Avionics or Avionics/Electronics
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Avionics Technician, preferably with rotary-wing aircraft.
- **Experience with Airbus 350 and Bell 212 helicopters** and knowledge of their specific avionics systems.
- Proficiency with **WinAir** or other aircraft management systems.
- Knowledge of helicopter systems and avionics equipment, including GPS, navigation, and communication systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe, drug
- and alcohol-free work environment.
- Must reside in the Edmonton area or be willing to relocate.
