**SUMMARY**
**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Reviews Business Requirements / User Stories to ensure a full understanding of business expectations and requirements.
- Reviews functional and design specifications and requirements to ensure full understanding of solution or service deliverables.
- Prepares / assists with preparation of all prescribed Quality Assurance artifacts including, but not limited to: Test Plan, Test Strategy, UAT Plan, defect tracking report, etc.
- Designs, develops, and maintains appropriate test cases that include all aspects of solution or service (functionality, data integrity, security, performance, UI, etc.).
- Performs a full range of functional and non-functional testing including but not limited to component, integration, system, regression, API, usability, security etc. as well as end-user experience level testing.
- Manages the logging of testing issues (bugs/enhancement requests), including those issues reported by others, ensuring traceability throughout their lifecycle.
- Executes manual and automated test cases and scripts and logging, evaluating, and reporting on testing outcome.
- Participates in research and evaluation of new software/product test technologies and makes recommendations for improvements in the existing ones.
- Contributes to the team’s development of internal work practices (e.g., policies, procedures, and tools).
- Provides orientations, walkthroughs, and training to internal and/or external stakeholders within area of responsibility.
- Contributes to, participates in, and supports organizational business transformation initiatives.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other relevant Information Technology field or equivalent combination of related experience, education, and training.
- 4-6 years experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or an equivalent role performing a wide variety of manual and automated Functional and Non-Functional tests.
- Familiar with programming languages (such as Java, C#, JS, Python) is an asset.
- Experience with testing APIs using tools such as Postman, ReadyAPI, Katalon Studio, REST Assured is an asset.
- Working knowledge of common test management tools and solutions (Helix ALM, TestRail, Azure DevOps, JIRA).
- Excellent written, spoken and presentation communication with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to use, develop and integrate information technologies.
- Ability to exercise judgement, initiative, and discretion.
- Ability to take initiative regarding issues and decisions within mínimal supervision
- Ability to understand business needs
