Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Quality Assurance Analyst to oversee the quality assurance of Microsoft Dynamics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies, with experience working with or testing on Microsoft Dynamics. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing quality assurance strategies, developing test plans, and executing test cases and test scripts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Implement Quality Assurance Strategies

Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies to ensure thorough testing of all functional requirements.

Develop Test Plans and Execute Test Cases

Develop detailed test plans and execute test cases and test scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage of all business processes.

Test Customizations and Configurations

Test customizations, configurations, and integrations to ensure they meet business requirements and function seamlessly with other enterprise systems.

Coordinate Manual Testing Efforts

Coordinate manual testing efforts for areas where automation is not available, ensuring thorough testing of complex scenarios, user workflows, and custom processes.

Work with Stakeholders

Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify key test cases, and ensure early detection of defects.

Defect Management

Ensure all issues identified during testing are accurately documented, prioritized, and resolved in a timely manner.

Compliance with Industry Standards

Ensure that the testing processes comply with industry standards, organizational policies, and best practices in software quality assurance.

Reporting and Documentation

Prepare detailed reports on testing outcomes, including test coverage, defect rates, and system performance, and present these findings to stakeholders.

Process Improvement

Maintain comprehensive documentation of QA processes, test cases, and testing results, and continuously evaluate and improve testing methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the QA function.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years of Experience

5+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst.

Microsoft Dynamics Experience

Experience working with or testing on Microsoft Dynamics.

SDLC and Agile Methodologies

Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Automation Testing Experience

Automation testing experience with Selenium an asset.

Testing Tools and Technologies

Hands-on experience with a variety of testing tools and technologies (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Jenkins and others and asset).

Programming Language

Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, WebLogic, Dot NET) and asset.

Test Automation Tools and Frameworks

Strong knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks.

Manual Testing Techniques and Tools

Experience with manual testing techniques and tools.

Communication Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Bachelor's Degree

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
