The Role:
We are seeking a driven and dynamic Sales Associate for our NA Business Development team. As a key member of this team, your primary goal will be to generate new business for Algo by engaging with existing and prospective customers. You will work in tandem with the Marketing and Sales Managers to prioritize leads and opportunities. This role requires a deep understanding of our product offerings and the ability to communicate their value effectively to customers. We emphasize a consultative, educational approach to sales, making it crucial for you to become a product expert. Given the technical nature of our product category, a knack for quickly grasping new technology is essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Generate new business, taking qualified leads from marketing customer service and sales leadership and generating opportunities - you will work directly with the end user customer to support their needs.
- Serve as an Algo product expert, communicating product benefits to prospective customers.
- Work in partnership with Sales Managers to scope projects directly with end customers, building out project scopes and costs.
- Identify under-serviced market segments and build winning strategies to drive Algo brand success.
- Execute robust follow-up activity and conversation for event-generated leads
- Collaborate with channel and partner sales teams to ensure end customers are serviced effectively.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales Managers to develop and execute strategies for generating new business.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Support the team in project quoting and pricing as needed.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote Algo's products and services (some travel required, within Canada and US).

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the technology industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Aptitude for learning new technology and eagerness to understand new industries and product categories.
- Proven experience working cross functionally with different disciplines (i.e. marketing, engineering, accounting)
- Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce experience and asset) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Willingness to travel as required (Canada and US)
