**Our Exciting Opportunity**:
In parallel with the initial roll out of 5G networks around the world, the interest about hardware/software disaggregation and virtualization of Radio Access Networks (RAN) is growing. The introduction of Cloud infrastructure in the RAN brings new challenges and opportunities.

**You will**:

- As part of the System Architecture team you will be developing and innovating on Ericsson´s mobile networks products in Private and Public Clouds. You will have a tremendous impact on the actual user experience, drive evolution and will be responsible for shaping strategic technology decisions that will enable mobile networks over Cloud for millions of users.
- You will define the development plan for next generation Cloud based RAN SW ensuring that roadmaps and development plans align to secure the development steps in the journey to the Cloud RAN wanted position optimizing Total Cost Of Ownership (TCO) and service assurance
- As part of System Architecture team, you will work closely with your Product line to define and implement our product and technology strategy as well as other senior technology specialist, driving work on technical strategy and roadmaps. You will help ensure that our Cloud RAN solutions are scalable and reliable. SW development experience is an advantage enabling you to stay close to the designer community in the ambition to make use of new technologies while maintaining a robust and well balance system architecture.

**To be successful in the role you must have**:

- An academic degree: MSc, PhD or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Technology
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience in development of large scale and high availability products over private or public Cloud.
- Experience with Linux, Kubernetes and data Networking
- Experience driving technical change of significant complexity
- Experience in a customer-facing technology role
- A passion for technology and for learning
- Superb communication skills and experience of cooperation’s with 3PPs and customer.
- Experience of cross organizational technical coordination and alignment.
