We are hiring a student to join our Pension Advisors Team As a Co-op Student, you will improve your skills and gain valuable work experience in your area of study by working with outstanding professionals and learning about NAV CANADA and Canada’s Air Navigation Service.

**Job Description**:
The Pension Advisor - Co-op Student will work closely with the Pension Team to help support the delivery of a wide range of efficient and effective services to employees and retirees.

This role involves
- Preparing pension calculations, assisting current members and retirees with pension and benefit queries, responding to inquiries from internal and external clients;
- Assist team members with day-to-day tasks and projects;
- Participate in team meetings and workshops.
- strong attention to detail,
- problem-solving skills, and
- excellent communication and facility to work and interact with individuals at all levels.

Programs and Level:

- Working towards a degree in business, finance, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Human Resources or related field

Work Environment:
The work is performed during weekdays in an office environment either at our Head Office in Ottawa or in our Montreal office within a team of experienced Pension Administration team members. There is a possibility of some hybrid work with this position.

Knowledge & Abilities
- Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- Ability to take initiative and self-direct to meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with customers and other departments
- Ability to perform verification of tasks
- Ability to maintain discretion.

Experience
- Experience with pension administration systems, HR system or in customer service is an asset

This is a hybrid position based out of either our Ottawa Head Office or our Montreal ACC.
