Location: Calgary or Edmonton

Reports to: Director, Human Resources

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Delivering end-to-end talent acquisition support to Business Units for salaried and hourly employees- Providing generalist HR support and guidance to managers and employees as needed- Coordinating campus recruitment across all Business Units including leading goal setting process for annual intern/new graduate hires, recruitment and onboarding, career fairs, campus visits, student events etc.- Participate in reviewing business needs and in developing plans to fill vacancies with top talent-
- Actively research market and industry trends and events to effectively utilize them as tools for talent acquisition

Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent communication abilities, encompassing verbal, written, and active listening skills- Ability to see the big picture, adapt to shifting priorities as well as effectively handle day-to-day details and tasks- Enthusiastic team player who thrives on fostering strong relationships while collaborating with stakeholders

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Marketing, or related field with 5+ years’ HR/Talent Acquisition experience- Experience with online recruiting platforms i.e., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.- Ability and experience working with various Business Units and handling multiple requisitions concurrently- Recruiting experience in the construction industry an asset- Experience in campus recruitment an asset- Generalist HR or Talent Management experience an asset- Requires some travel between Western Canada locations
