Front Desk Agent

We are a construction company seeking an individual to work our front desk and order desk.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for receiving visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
- Maintains employee and department directories as a guide for directing visitors
- Operates telephone switchboard, answers and transfers calls to appropriate units
- Receives order calls from field staff and places orders with vendors
- Responsible for basic data entry as assigned
- Handles outgoing mails; sorts and distributes incoming mails
- Maintains and stocks basic office supplies
Requirements - Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities for Career Success:
- Education: Individuals require a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
- Possesses the ability to provide customer support in a prompt, friendly, and timely manner. They must also be able to follow-up on a case through to resolution
- Ability to maintain composure in high pressure and fast-paced environment
- Enthusiastic, respectful, and friendly demeanor; with a professional and welcoming presentation, and most importantly, possess a positive attitude
- Requires solid phone handling etiquette to respectfully engage with guests and customers; and to promptly and efficiently handle a multi-line telephone system
- Should be proficient with Microsoft Office tools and possess strong keyboarding skills to perform their job successfully
- Past experience at a construction company or similar an asset
Full benefits package after 3 months

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
