If so, then this opportunity is for you As a Strategic Planning Analyst II, you will play a crucial role within the Business Integration section of the Parks and Roads Services Branch.

**What will you do?**
- Identify key operational activities and associated costs
- Review historical costing and accomplishment data to perform trend analysis
- Analyze operational requirements and develop business cases
- Develop and implement guidelines to ensure alignment with the City's strategic direction
- Support the identification and reporting of key performance measures
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize projects that support the City's strategic direction
- Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices and support data-driven decision-making
- Develop project charters, plans, and timelines, ensuring timely project delivery
- Identify and analyze operational costs, developing justifications and cost-benefit analyses
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations effectively
- Support the implementation of risk management processes and tools

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of a University degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Public Administration, Planning, or a related discipline
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in a financial setting, detailed budgeting and forecasting, Job Costing, financial reporting, business planning, process improvement, and project management
- 3 years of experience with large ERP systems (e.g. SAP)

**Assets**:

- CPA, PMP would be an asset
- Experience within a public sector environment would be beneficial

**Conditions of Employment**:

- This is a hybrid, work-from-home position with a requirement to travel to other City of Edmonton locations (as needed)

- The work environment is primarily office-based, with mínimal physical effort required
