We are looking for a **Product Support Analyst** to join our **Product** Department **(formerly Marketing)**.**

Reporting to the Director Product and Pricing, your primary goal is to execute market research and analysis that helps identify opportunities for developing new products or making changes to existing ones. You will also gather competitive insights, analyze industry trends in the product and service area, audit existing Servus product material for accuracy, and aid in the product development process. You play a key role in tracking, analyzing the success of campaigns, and providing reporting support on portfolio performance. Working collaboratively with the Product Team and other internal stakeholders, you'll showcase your ability to collect, analyze and summarize product offerings to ensure an innovative and competitive portfolio of products at Servus.

More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Understanding Servus's strategic priorities, the various value propositions and priority segmentation, and how Servus compares with the competitive environment
- Problem solving will be focused on real-time task related issues of internal partners, for all products across all business lines, to ensure product and service information is correct on all channels both internally and externally. This includes a large competitive intelligence gathering role for various departments of the company from Treasury to Operations.
- Maintaining awareness of industry events, competitor offerings and rates, economic conditions, market developments and demographic and socio-economic trends as they relate to meeting the evolving product needs of members in a timely, value-added fashion.
- Daily scans of the marketplace advising on rate, promotions and new product launches.
- Conduct research on credit union product portfolio trends in order to provide insights and direction for tactical implementation of campaigns and product innovation.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external department partners.

**Requirements**:
To qualify, you will need at least the following skills or experience:

- Two to five years sales experience with a financial institution
- Understand and interpret qualitative and quantitative research for business purposes including the ability to recognize and identify innovative opportunities
- Highly comfortable in using digital and non-digital methods to uncover competitive insights.
- Comfortable multi-tasking prioritizing demands with competing deadlines.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Sound understanding of the finance competitive marketplace.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Marketing campaign and product management experience would be an asset.
