We are currently seeking an experienced Parts Coordinator to join our Maintenance department.

The Parts & Materials Coordinator reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for procurement, maintenance, and inventory of all mechanical parts and materials.

**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Create, implement, and maintain a parts inventory control coding system for Maintenance department using CMMS software.
- Sort, purge, organize, and code all current parts/tools to be recorded in inventory tracking.
- Periodic inventory counts of all department parts & materials.
- Research, source, and procure required parts, restock items, mechanical equipment and/or tools.
- Liaison between Operations, QA Department, and Management, for recommendations on critical need items, CFIA guidelines and requirements, ordering & shipping requirements.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationship with suppliers & vendors for business continuity.
- Resolve and investigate any discrepancies in shipping, invoice errors, credits, and/or parts replacement/returns.
- Transport (drop off/pick up) of parts & materials where applicable (local only).
- Operate basic hand or power tools
- Document control, record keeping, and/or creation related to inventory costing and controls.
- Comply with all Health & Safety protocols, HACCP/GMP guidelines, and internal policies & procedures.
- Other general laboring duties as deemed safe and assigned by Maintenance Manager.

**Qualifications**:

- Post Secondary, vocational or technical training in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in diversified procurement, supply chain, inventory control, or materials management.
- Minimum 1 year experience in an industrial wholesale or manufacturing setting. Preference will be given to those within Food processing.
- Experience in using CMMS software with strong computer literacy.

**Other Information**:
Shift: 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Pay: $45,760.00-$62,400.00 per year

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
