**Job Overview**

The Maintenance Planner reports to and takes direction from the Project Superintendent. The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Planner is providing planning and coordination expertise for labor, parts and material, and equipment access.

**Responsibilities**
- Act as the primary liaison between maintenance and operations
- Walk down work orders at a field level and develop work plans
- Responsible for the planning of multiple trades, piping, scaffolding, civil and insulation
- Orders and receives required material to assist maintenance activities
- Coordinates daily as well as weekly planning meetings related with maintenance
- Leads communication between maintenance and other internal beneficiaries of maintenance work to ensure that everyone receives timely, efficient, and quality service.
- Collects drawings, manuals and other documents to assist contractors and maintenance repairs or modifications
- Performs other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Journeyperson Pipefitter or applicable trade
- Minimum of 2-4 years' experience as a Planner in an industrial maintenance setting
- Proficiency in SAP is an asset
- Ability to scope jobs at a field level and develop work plans

**Position Information**
- Shift Rotation: 15/13
- Project site located in Norman Wells, NWT
- Long-term permanent position
- Charter flight from Edmonton provided to and from site
- Camp accommodations provided
