Teine has an immediate opening for a full‐time permanent Mineral Land Analyst in our Calgary head office, reporting to the Director of Mineral Land.

**Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Maintain Mineral Land Contracts in the CS Land System and digital files (StackDX).
- Draft, prepare and interpret legal land documents including mineral leases and contracts.
- Understand and manage the A&D process from initial documents to post-closing responsibilities.
- Assist with mineral land component to Teine’s Ready-To-Drill (RTD) program as required.
- Support and administer the freehold, crown and federal land acquisition process and related obligations, including offset tracking.
- Share expertise with peers and demonstrate an interest in mentoring and coaching team members.
- Collaborate with Land Negotiators and business teams to manage contractual obligations, partner notices, drilling requirements, and administer third party notices as it pertains to land contracts.
- Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to enhance contract efficiency.
- Draft and/or analyze contracts including poolings, royalty agreements, and government required drilling agreements (PAUA’s, Production Allocation Agreements).
- Conduct contract reviews and file clean-up as needed.
- Work with the Joint Venture team to ensure JV contracts and unit agreements are accurate and the systems/reporting are up to date.

**Required Qualifications and Skills**:

- Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in Mineral Land Contracts / Analysis.
- Solid understanding of A&D processes, closing documents, land contracts principles and drafting.
- Knowledge of Alberta and Saskatchewan Regulations is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of contracts, CAPL precedent agreements and provincial tenure regulations, and possessing ability to link records appropriately in the land system.
- Proficient in post-closing administration, file update, with strong ability to perform clean-up work.
- Ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of work with multiple overlapping deadlines.
- Proficient with tools such as ETS (AB Crown), SPIN, MS Word, and Excel; an aptitude for utilizing or willingness to learn GeoScout and SK IRIS.
- Strong working knowledge of CS Land and/or Pandell LandWorks.
- Solid knowledge of digital workflows, administrative workflows for data management to ensure data is accurately set up for interdepartmental use (accounting, JV, etc.).
- Collaborative, personable, and enthusiastic, with excellent problem solving skills and strong attention to detail. Capable of seeking guidance when needed and collaborating effectively to achieve team goals.
- Possess a cheerful outlook and eagerness to embrace innovative technologies, identifying opportunities for improvement while working collaboratively to implement effective solutions.
- Membership in CALEP and/or CAPLA, along with relevant volunteer experience, are considered assets.
