The Marketing & Sales Specialist position is for aspiring sales professionals. Our Client an emerging Promotional Products firm, Firm is devoted to building our business with our sales efforts. We are looking for an individual that has the drive to succeed in sales. The firm invests time and support into its employees to provide them with room to learn and grow their expertise and work their way up. We are an entrepreneurial-minded organization that welcomes and support individual ideas and strategies. We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Mississauga office.

MAIN Duties AND Functions:

- Build a portfolio of clients by actively researching and seeking out prospects via sales calls
- Act as the liaison between the client, and firm.
- Develop solid relationships with clients by providing them with excellent customer service
- Manage the movement of the client’s orders
- Consult with clients to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
- Identify, manage and build new business relationships in the target market
- Maintain a database of clients, prospects, partners, and vendors
- Work quickly and effectively to resolve problems that may develop on a freight shipment
- Coordinate prospect, sales, and current customer meetings working closely with VP Growth & Innovation

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, skills, ABILITIES, and PERSONAL attributes:

- Proven track record with a strong focus on account management, setting appointments, presenting and meeting with customers, pricing, proposals through to 'closing the deal
- 1+ years of sales and account management experience in the industry is preferable.
- Experience working B2B sales involving complex deals is an asset
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the sales planning process
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills & strong interpersonal and customer relation skills
- Strong negotiation skills with the proven closing ability
- Ability to function independently with little or no supervision as well as function in a team environment
- Ability to use digital technology to support his or her daily work activities, including word processing, file management software, communications software (e.g. MS Outlook)

Other Qualifications:

- Be open-minded about learning new sales techniques and strategy
- Persistent and aggressive and don’t take “no” for an answer
- Strong work ethic and a fast learner
- Effective negotiation skills and knowledge of the art of persuasion
- Have the ability to be self-motivated and self-directed with excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and you must have the ability to multi-task

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

- French not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
