**Role Overview**:
**Premises and Maintenance**
- Perform daily premise inspections in accordance with the maintenance program schedule and ensure premises are maintained according to workplace standards.
- Report and respond to all premise-related deficiencies, requests or issues in a timely manner to the Tenant Service Portal and/or the appropriate vendor or contractor.
- Oversee on-site vendors and contractors as required.
- Record and follow-up on all facility requests, repairs and deficiencies.
- Notify Manager of any non-standard requests and urgent matters. (e.g. disruption to services, safety concerns, financial impact, etc.)
- Complete and submit work permits and relevant documentation to BAC Security Operations Centre for external vendors and contractors working within CBB premises.
- Conduct minor handyman duties as required and in accordance with Health and Safety practices.

**Security and Safety**
- Respond to any Health and Safety Committee recommendations or potential hazards identified on the monthly workplace inspections.
- Participate and assist in the annual fire evacuation procedures.

**Moves, Adds or Changes**
- Move furniture, boxes and office contents as per move instructions.
- Prepare and outfit workspace for new or departing lawyers and staff which consists of, but not limited to, furniture set-up, supplies, name plates and other supplies as required

**Other Requirements**
- Provide backup and assistance to other departments in the Office Services team such as courier, mail and print services as well as Client Center Services, as required.
- 1-3 years of related facilities services experience.
- Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple activities and competing priorities.
- Professional, polished and tactful manner; collaborative style yet capable of working independently.
- Excellent customer services skills to understand the requirement and the need of the users utilizing oral and written communications skills as well as effective listening skills.
- High integrity and discretion to ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Flexible schedule and some overtime may be required.

**Employment Type**: 3-Month Contract _(could be extended)_
