McKee Homes Ltd. Is growing our team and has an opportunity for a **Warranty Administrator**.

The successful applicant will have experience and education in residential construction and will be self-motivated and engaging with excellent computer, written, and oral communication skills, and good knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook. They will have excellent customer service abilities, and will be professional, personable, and friendly. The objective of the **Warranty Administrator** role is to effectively manage the warranty process for our clients’ new homes to attain the highest levels of customer satisfaction as part of the effort to achieving our mission and vision. The successful applicant will work closely with Warranty Technicians and will manage appointments, input warranty requests/work orders, and follow up on all warranty requests/work orders. They will communicate with our Homeowners during the warranty period to ensure a smooth and efficient warranty experience for our clients and trade partners.

**Examples of responsibilities**:

- Follow McKee Safety Plan and OH&S regulations in all aspects of work.
- Generate and organize Orientation paperwork and input requests to departments and/or trades to ensure a high level of home readiness.
- Manage utility connections and disconnections.
- Follow construction team schedule for warranty pre-possession work.
- Organize key release with clients and Warranty Technicians for closing day and provide appropriate documentation to clients.
- Ensure proper and adequate paperwork communication to homeowners at orientation and throughout the warranty period.
- Follow-up with all customers during the first two weeks of occupancy.
- Schedule 60 day, Year-End Inspections and other appointments with clients. Enter appointments into Outlook for technician and generate corresponding paperwork.
- Accept client calls, answer questions and address any concerns by following McKee Homes Warranty manual and ANHW.
- English fluency is extremely important, other languages are considered an asset.
- Follow up appointments with scheduling trade days and materials needed for appointments from suppliers.
- Ensure 60 Day and Year-End review communications are sent out to homeowners.
- Schedule technicians to attend and complete monthly service in show homes and specs as assigned.
- Monitor database for accuracy of incomplete and complete items.
- Identify trades to ensure objectives of quality and timely service are met and communicate with the Warranty Team of issues.
- Review and manage warranty costs with the Operations Manager
- Review Customer surveys with the Operations Manager.
- Maintain good communication with Alberta New Home Warranty.
- Review Warranty Section in Manual to ensure accuracy and changes implemented.
- Pursue further training in applicable courses for job requirements.
- Work with all departments, knowing that we work in a team environment.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.

**Special conditions and Qualifications**:

- Knowledge and experience of home construction and mandatory warranty
- Commitment to on-going education
- English fluency is extremely important, other languages are considered an asset.
- Preferred training - SAIT/PHBI Administrative diploma
- Excellent communication skills and self-motivated; a “time is of the essence” mind-set
- Ability to contribute to and foster positive team environment
- Commitment to safety

The position will be full time located at Head Office 406 1st Ave NW Airdrie.
