Battat is a family-run toy company with headquarters in Montreal and over 45 years in the industry. We are in the business of designing and manufacturing high-quality, educational, innovative toys and have experienced constant growth over the years. We are a team of dynamic individuals in an organic environment through which we all grow and in turn, contribute to the company’s success.

We are currently looking for a talented and motivated **Digital Marketing Manager**

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform market research and competitor analysis;
- Manage local social media channels, taking into account retailer and distributor sales objectives;
- Implement PPC strategies to grow brand awareness and conversions, including Google Search, Display, YouTube and Facebook paid marketing campaigns;
- Monitor campaign performance using tools such as Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Search console;
- Plan a dedicated marketing budget and monitor marketing spend accordingly;
- Coordinate non-digital marketing activities in the market, including in-store shop fits, events and public relations;
- Partner with other departments across the company, including sales and marketing teams, as well as external stakeholders such as retailers and distributors.

**Skills, Competencies & Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, e-commerce or related field
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing concepts, terminology and experience working with transactional and non-transactional websites
- Strong Excel and analytical skills needed
- Knowledge of Google, Facebook and YouTube advertising platforms (Google and Facebook certifications are a strong asset)
- Excellent written English (a third language such as Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese or Japanese is an asset)
- Adaptable, self-reliant, solution-oriented and strong attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to a constantly changing and dynamic environment

**Experience**:

- 2+ years experience in some combination of e-commerce, social media and paid digital marketing
- B2C marketing experience
- Experience using Facebook Ads, Google Ads and similar third-party campaign management tools
- Experience with WordPress and Shopify content management systems (an asset)
- Experience living in or working in international markets (an asset)

**Responsabilités**:

- Réaliser des études de marché et des analyses de la concurrence ;
- Gérer les canaux de médias sociaux locaux, en tenant compte des objectifs de vente des détaillants et des distributeurs ;
- Mettre en œuvre des stratégies PPC pour accroître la notoriété de la marque et les conversions, y compris les campagnes de marketing payant Google Search, Display, YouTube et Facebook ;
- Contrôler les performances des campagnes à l'aide d'outils tels que Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager et Search console ;
- Planifier un budget marketing dédié et contrôler les dépenses marketing en conséquence ;
- Développer et exploiter les canaux locaux de marketing par courriel à l'aide d'outils tels que Mailchimp ;
- Coordonner les activités de marketing non numérique sur le marché, y compris les ajustements en magasin, les événements et les relations publiques ;
- Travailler en partenariat avec d'autres services de l'entreprise, notamment les équipes de vente et de marketing, ainsi qu'avec des parties prenantes externes telles que les détaillants et les distributeurs.

**Aptitudes, compétences et exigences**:

- Baccalauréat en commerce, en marketing, en commerce électronique ou dans un domaine connexe.
- Solide connaissance des concepts et de la terminologie du marketing numérique et expérience de travail avec des sites web transactionnels et non transactionnels.
- Solides compétences en Excel et en analyse
