a day in the life

**As the Manager, Strategic Sales you will**:

- Lead the strategy and execution for the Independents West portfolio and responsible for ongoing innovation and growth of the program.
- Target untapped territories and growth opportunities within the region where we have limited or no distribution.
- Research and complete competitive analysis; monitor market trends and communicate to internal partners.
- Responsible for guest acquisition, retention and driving traffic to owed vertical channel.
- Portfolio range from $20M - $30M wholesale.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and ongoing support to Account Managers.
- Responsible for the selection, onboarding, and ongoing development of direct reports.
- Works cross functionally with multiple teams across the organization (including retail) to ensure their priorities and strategy align with the overall company's strategy: Retail, Brand & Product.
- Setting up new channels within the organization: example: Corporate Account in order to test & learn.
- Have the ability to create and execute a strategy.
- Ability to reforecast monthly, quarterly and yearly; create plans for future years.
- Partner with SRD’s (Senior Regional Directors) to determine and support long term real estate plan + strategy.
- Oversees all aspects of the operational performance, delivering on financial KPI’s.

**qualifications**:

- 5+ years people management experience required.
- 8+ year experience in relationship management, business management, sales, or related field.
